This is an account agreement that must be accepted to access the Loan Library. Before creating an account, the user must read and accept this agreement.

Welcome to Assistive Technology Lending and Services (ATLAS). We are an Equipment Lending Library, a no-cost service that loans assistive technology devices, tools, apps, and resource materials to school personnel within Indiana’s Local Education Agencies (LEAs). ATLAS’ service area includes any Indiana LEA, including Pre-Ks. Items are loaned for a sixweek period to preview and/or trial with students. Borrowers should take any school breaks into account when trialing items.

This website allows professionals to browse assistive technology available for K-12 Indiana public school personnel to borrow for their students. Before exploring the catalog, please take a moment to review the guidelines for accessing and using our site. All loans are for a period of six weeks. Requested items will be sent to the school at no charge. Loans can be extended upon request, given that no other LEAs are waiting on them. When borrowing from the ATLAS Lending Library, the user and LEA agrees to:

Assume responsibility for returning item(s) by the stated due date.
- Retain all packing materials and boxes that the loan items were delivered in for return shipment. (Replacement shipping materials will not be provided by ATLAS.)
- Keep track of all parts, pieces, and manuals included with this shipment. (Borrowers will be held accountable for any missing items and will return and/or replace them at their expense.)
- Return items using the prepaid shipping label for the library to eQiciently track late, lost, or damaged equipment. This requirement is both for the LEA’s protection and ATLAS’.
- Complete the required evaluation form by the loan due date.
- If a loan is requested less than 6 weeks before the end of the LEA’s school year, the terms of the loan will be shortened to reflect a return date that is before the end of the school year.
Prevent loss or abuse of equipment/software/resources.
- Return item(s) in clean and working order.
- Immediately notify ATLAS at 317-466-1000 ext. 2617 or K12ATLAS@eastersealscrossroads.org should an item malfunction or cease to operate, then return equipment/software immediately if recommended by staQ.
- Assume financial responsibility for replacing any item with an exact or similar item that is damaged because of intentional damage, neglect, carelessness, or loss while in the LEA’s possession.
Obey software copyright laws.
- There will be no copying of software. The borrower MUST remove programs from all computers, hard drives, disk drives, etc. before returning software.
ATLAS cannot guarantee immediate delivery of the requested equipment.
- It is the LEA's responsibility to look for other avenues to obtain necessary equipment if required by an IEP.
